Premium Blended Cultivar Sencha from Wazuka, Kyoto

Coming from well-known tea master Uejima-san in the famous tea-producing region Wazuka, Kyoto prefecture this Sencha has been created from a blend of okumidori and tsuyuhikari cultivars.

The Okumidori is a mellow cultivar with well rounded flavour. The tsuyuhikari ( meaning 'dew light') was one of the most popular shincha varieties we sold this year and adds a beautiful umami flavour to this blend. 

This sencha is fresh and slightly floral with a balance of umami and sweet notes. 

 

Steeping Notes: 3-5g | 150-200ml | 70°-80°C | 1min

  • Cultivar: Okumidori | Tsuyuhihari 
  • Harvest: Spring 25
  • Region: Wazuka Village, Kyoto Prefecture
